Dear Diary,

Covid has altered the college experience for everyone over the past two years, and it really seems unfair. It is unfair that our college experience has to be so much different from the normal. We have had to miss out on a lot of the college experiences, that so many before us took part in. The traditions, the pageantry and just the standard day-to-day campus life have been taken away from us. This year, however, things are starting to change and get back to “normal.” We still wear masks on the ground, but that is an improvement to last year. We can go to events and attend social gatherings, unlike last year. Seeing progress like that helps but doesn’t change the fact we lost out on those things last year. And who knows how the effect of experiencing those things could have changed us and made us better students and humans. That is what is so unfair.
