THE BLUEPRINT
Dear Diary,
When I was younger, I never appreciated the skin I was in. I grew up being teased about my complexion and those things really got to me. However, as I grew older, I started to realize that my beauty doesn’t necessarily have to be centered around my appearance. The way I treat others, and myself, is what truly makes me beautiful. However my melanted skin puts the icing on the cake. To any other black woman reading this, know that you are beautiful inside and out. You are special and genuinely one of a kind. Always lift yourself up and always be your biggest fan. From the Diary of a Happy Black Woman.
