OVERWHELMED
Dear Diary,
I have never struggled much in school before. This is my senior year and I thought my last semester would be laid back and a time to make some last memories. While I am only taking 12 hours, I have never had this much outside work to do in my time in college. I work 30+ hours a week and every other free moment is filled with homework. And yet I cannot ever catch up. There’s always one class I have to let fall behind. I just have to keep rotating which one it is this week. It feels like the professors decided we had enough grace time during the pandemic and decided to amp it up one. I wish my last semester was one of joy with my friends and in my classes but it’s been difficult not to be frustrated at the amount of work I constantly have to do. Grateful it’s almost over. And still grateful for the time I’ve had in college.
