AM I DROWNING OR FLOATING?
Dear Diary,
In this time of returning back to school after twenty three years of being out and raising a family, I feel like I am barely keeping my head above water. Never in a million years did I think I would return to full time course work in a pandemic. I signed up for on campus classes and I have ONE. The other four are a combination of zoom and online versions. Geology is HARD when it’s not in person, a lab is HARD when it is not in person. The learning curve has been huge and there are days I feel like I will never make it. My saving grace is that EVERYONE is also experiencing this together. Professors, students, families, communities…ALL of us! It is hard to wear a mask and study in a library. It is hard to be isolated from other students. This is all HARD I will survive.
